As the day progressed, so did the amount of pain radiating in my back. I gave up sitting at the computer and decided to lie down for a while.
My husband set up the Mattress Genie Bed Wedge. I gingerly laid back on an approx. 25 degree angle. After the initial pain of moving around subsided, I was laying back comfortably reading. This item gets a thumbs up. You can adjust the amount of angle you need by add or releasing air. It would be very beneficial not only for allowing me to read pain free, but on nights when I am congested and a angle to the bed would help me drain and be able to breath.
Later that day, my husband gave me a back massage on The M.A.T., a massage mat he laid out on our bed. This lightweight, portable mat has a cradle for the face/head and elevates various body areas so you are comfortable while having a massage. I was so comfortable, I feel asleep!
The massage cream of choose was Free-Up Massage Cream. This cream is advertised to cost less than 50 cents for a full body massage and a little did go a long way. The massage felt wonderful and the cream did not get tacky. A thumbs up!
More items were tried as I recovered from my back pain so look for up-coming articles.
